COME WITH MOTH: TO A SUPPER CLUB WITH XANTHE GLADSTONE

One of the favourite parts of my job is getting to go to events. Watching people discover MOTH for the first time. And seeing the people who already know and love us find out their favourite cocktails are available at the event.

Last week, on a beautiful sunny Thursday evening, Chess (our Junior Brand Manager) and I headed over to Allpress in Dalston as our friend, Xanthe Gladstone, was hosting a supper club and we were supplying the drinks. Xanthe Gladstone is a chef and organic vegetable grower who is passionate about food sustainability. She’s based in Wales but hosts regular supper clubs in London.

HONESTLY ONE OF THE BEST TIRAMISUS I’VE EVER HAD (AND I’VE EATEN A LOT OF TIRAMISUS).

The evening began with an aperitivo hour, completed with MOTH: Aperitivo Spritzes, Negronis and snacks. The perfect way to spend an aperitivo moment.

We then headed in for the mains, which came out dish by dish. A lovely way to chat and interact with new friends sitting next to us at the table. Shout out to our friends at Bold Bean Co, for the best beans around, they tasted unreal with the tomato pangrattato! We drank wine with dinner, as our cocktails are best enjoyed pre and post dinner.

Then, the star of the show: tiramisu was brought out, served alongside our MOTH Espresso Martinis. It was honestly one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten a lot of tiramisus). The recipe Xanthe followed is linked here and I'm definitely going to be pinching. It was the perfect way to round off the evening.
