The warm heart of our Negroni, French 75, and Aperitivo Spritz: gin is made by Tarquin’s. It’s handcrafted – from the first Cornish distillery in over 100 years. We use their Seadog gin. A bold Navy strength. It was the second type of gin Tarquin’s ever made, originally created for the search and rescue flight 771 squadron. This one’s the proud winner of world’s best gin in 2017.

With beautiful, balanced botanicals. Delicious and meticulous – it even includes handpicked violets. Crafted using a different source of Italian juniper and combined with liquorice for a warm, smooth, punchy finish.

All of Tarquin’s botanicals are hand sourced by Tarquin himself. They’re added to a neutral grain spirit and allowed to macerate in the pot stills for 12 hours. Their distilling process is a perfect fusion of old and new. The copper pot stills are heated with a direct naked flame, then the top is sealed with bread dough. The neat spirits are cut with only the purest British water – for just the right alcohol strength.

It’s all bottled in custom sea glass bottles – designed and produced in the UK. Then hand-labelled and waxed. Each batch has their unique tasting notes written onto the label (talk about meticulous).
