Scour secondhand sites and antique fairs for your bits and bobs. Vintage tablecloths. for candlesticks, cutlery, cake stands and vases. Whatever you’ve got your eye on. Stylish and sustainable.
Paint straight onto the tablecloth. I painted food, bows, festive bits and some animals on this MOTH tablecloth. Write around bits on the table for a chic labelling system.
Use different heights. Candlesticks, platters and cake stands and flowers give you some depth. A real feast for the eyes.
Ribbon. Bows on everything. I laced the martini glasses with long, thin pink ribbon (so cute). How about a different colour for each guest? Pros: no more dreaded glass shares.
